How It Works

Search by Structure uses a protein structural search index built from the comprehensive pairwise structural alignment data available in DASH. Using this search index, a query protein can be quickly matched with its closest representatives from the PDB. Final results are computed by aligning the query protein against all structural neighbors for the representatives found during the index search.
